Mobo and its stated features

AiMOGA Robotics, Chery’s robotics brand, launched Mobo in Wuhu and opened global pre-orders. The roughly 0.9-metre robot has 22 degrees of freedom and is designed for interaction with children, older adults and the whole family. The company claims family-member recognition, long-term memory, home navigation, reminders and interaction in more than twenty languages.

Pre-orders and delivery terms

At launch, 35 early users received a year of testing access. The company also reported more than 10,000 expressions of interest. Launch materials did not specify a single public price, deposit, delivery schedule or list of countries where orders would be fulfilled.

Mobo uses MoAgent to combine task planning with rapid responses to events. Updates and some training take place through MogaCloud. The company plans a network of 300 experience centres and service infrastructure.
