Coordinating logistics agents

On 6 October, Descartes introduced Agent Control Plane to coordinate AI agents across logistics applications and partners. The company describes customer-defined permissions, approval points and activity records.

Handovers between systems

Information in a logistics operation passes through several applications: a delivery-date change relates to an order, documents and partner actions. Agent Control Plane is intended to coordinate such handovers. Permissions and approval points determine which actions agents perform themselves and which go to an employee.
