Interactive answers in ChatGPT

OpenAI has started the global rollout of GPT-6 in the regular ChatGPT conversation. Its central change is Intelligent UI: a response can combine text, images, charts, forms, buttons and interactive elements. The model chooses a format for the task, such as a side-by-side comparison, an explanatory diagram or a calculator built directly in the conversation. The interface is composed from native components and streams progressively while the answer is generated.

Rollout to Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise started on October 7; Free and Go are scheduled to follow on October 8. Enterprise access depends on administrator settings. Paid tiers use GPT-6 Sol, while Free and Go use GPT-6 Luna. The release applies to ChatGPT’s Chat experience: it does not change the models powering Work or Codex.

Forms and tools inside the conversation

An interactive response allows users to change parameters, compare options and obtain calculations within the conversation. Generated formulas and conclusions require checking, as do text answers. OpenAI says it is continuing to improve design quality.
