A test site in Stavropol orchards

On 9 October, Skolkovo announced a planned partnership with Sady Stavropolya. The production sites are intended to host agritech trials, including machine-vision assessment of seedlings and robotic orchard care.

Trials in farm conditions

Trials on a working farm involve real plants, terrain and lighting. Seedling assessment relates images to quality features, while robotic care requires movement to match the planting layout. Both areas are named in the cooperation programme.

Preparing the site

The announcement does not specify a site launch date or selected solutions. The partnership is at the stage of preparing trials.
