Tools for ROS
On 22 September 2026, NVIDIA introduced Isaac ROS 5.0 for developing ROS-based robotics applications. The release expands open libraries and support for work with Jetson. AI agents participate in preparing and developing applications.
Skills and documentation
NVIDIA describes reusable skills for configuration and manipulation, alongside documentation prepared for AI agents. These components help engineers set up environments and connect application components. The resulting configuration can then support further development.
From application to device
A robotics application brings together cameras, computing modules, libraries and a team’s own code. Compatibility depends on the documentation for the specific components. After assembly, developers test data exchange between them and robot behaviour on the selected hardware. Device testing remains a separate part of the engineering process.
