Programmes for institutions
On 30 September 2026 at EDUCAUSE, Google.org described its support for higher-education initiatives involving the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities, APLU and Education Design Lab. The work covers adult learners, practical career preparation and changes to colleges’ strategic planning.
Faculty and staff
The programmes extend beyond students. Faculty and institutional staff are involved in learning the tools and incorporating them into their work. Training is therefore part of deployment alongside access to the technology.
Three distinct areas
Adult learning, connections between education and careers, and college planning require different approaches. Google.org presents them as separate initiatives. They share a focus on applying AI to the institution’s own tasks, from supporting learners to helping its staff work.
